I offer structured weekly or monthly sessions tailored to individuals aged 5 and up, addressing a wide range of concerns across the lifespan. Services use evidence-based and integrative modalities to meet each client’s needs, goals, and pace.
Who I work with
Children (age 5+), adolescents, adults, and older adults
Individuals, couples, and families
Clients seeking support for mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, chronic pain, stress, trauma recovery, substance use concerns, motivation and goal attainment, and skill-building
Core treatment modalities
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focused, skills-based work to identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts, reduce symptoms, and build adaptive coping strategies.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): Trauma-focused treatment to address maladaptive beliefs and process traumatic memories (appropriate for eligible clients).
Motivational Interviewing (MI): Collaborative, person-centered approach to increase motivation for change, ideal for substance use, health behavior change, and ambivalence.
Somatic Therapy: Body-centered techniques to help regulate physiological responses, resolve trauma-related tension, and integrate emotional and physical healing.
Coping Skills Training: Practical strategies for anxiety management, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, sleep hygiene, and relapse prevention.
Life Skills Coaching: Practical supports for organization, time management, social skills, independent living, and vocational/academic functioning.
Chronic Pain Management: Integrated psychological strategies including pain education, CBT for pain, paced activity, relaxation and mindfulness, and behavioral activation to improve functioning and quality of life.
Session structure and frequency
Weekly sessions: Recommended for active symptom reduction, trauma work, skills acquisition, or early stages of treatment.
Monthly sessions: Appropriate for maintenance, medication management adjuncts, check-ins during life transitions, or ongoing coaching.
Flexible scheduling and treatment pacing to accommodate therapy goals and client availability.
Care coordination and assessment
Comprehensive intake and individualized treatment planning.
Ongoing progress review and collaboration with medical providers, schools, or other professionals as needed and with client consent.
Evidence-based outcome monitoring to ensure treatment effectiveness.
Getting started
Initial assessment determines presenting concerns, treatment goals, and the most appropriate modalities and frequency.
Treatment plans are collaborative and can be adjusted as progress is made.
If you would like a concise intake overview or examples of treatment plans for specific concerns (e.g., adolescent anxiety, chronic pain, or trauma recovery), I can provide tailored plans.
