Sexual Assault & Abuse Prevention Training — virtual or in-person
I offer comprehensive, highly interactive sexual assault and abuse prevention classes tailored for any setting or audience. Sessions are designed for engagement, practical learning, and real-world application — appropriate for awareness months (such as Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month) or any time of year.
What I provide
Customized curriculum for schools, military units, workplaces, community groups, faith organizations, and large public events.
Options for format and size: virtual delivery, small group workshops, or large-format presentations (500+ attendees with a suitable venue).
Practical modules covering: trends in sexual assault and abuse; barriers and facilitators to reporting; prevention strategies; bystander intervention; trauma-informed response; resources and referral pathways.
Highly interactive activities: scenario-based discussions, audience polling, role-play, Q&A, and resource planning to leave participants with concrete next steps.
Credentials & experience
Extensive experience as a victim advocate and Brigade-level Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) at Fort Hood.
Level 2 DSCAAP victim advocate with NOVA.
Facilitated 50+ classes and collaborated on multiple events for Fort Hood and III Corps.
Skilled presenting to diverse audiences and translating policy and best practice into actionable guidance.
Logistics & availability
Available virtually or in-person. Travel within a 2-hour radius of Savannah is included; travel beyond that radius incurs a travel fee.
Flexible session lengths: brief awareness sessions (30–45 minutes), standard workshops (1–3 hours), or full-day trainings.
Capacity for large audiences (500+), contingent on appropriate venue, AV, and staffing support.
